You will explore how global forces, such as globalization and gendered or racialized relations, influence cultural practices and everyday life. By examining these dynamics, you will discover how they impact tourism and climate challenges. With these insights, you will be ready to contribute meaningfully to discussions about the liveability of places and people’s attachment to their environments.

Our programme is intentionally place-based, people-centered, and community-oriented, offering a unique perspective that combines local insights with global contexts.
