Nowhere else in Europe can you follow a programme like Governance and Leadership in European Public Health (GLEPH), which will prepare you to lead, support and monitor high-level decision-making processes within the context of European institutions and organisations.
Why this programme?
Because each EU Member State decides on its own approach to public health and healthcare, this programme gives you the skills to understand the concept and practice of European governance, to look across borders and to learn from practices elsewhere. You'll get equipped with the analytical tools, innovative research methods and change-management instruments required for policymaking and development at organisational, regional, Euregional, national and European level. Moreover, you will acquire public health leadership competencies by participating in the Leadership track. The programme involves several compulsory modules followed by a 10-week internship for your thesis research, which you may conduct at a selected health or research institute abroad.
GLEPH graduates can be found in various international institutions and organisations like
European Commission, DG SANTE, European Centre of Disease Control, WHO Europe, NGOs working in the field of health, pharmaceutical and insurance industry, local health authorities and national public health institutes, academia and research institutes, healthcare provider organisations, such as hospitals and clinics with international orientation.verbergen
